Adam Stubbings set up Compass Financial in May 2009, having worked as a financial adviser in the North West for several years and previously London for ten years. Educated at TS Indefatigable, a Naval College on Anglesey, North Wales, where he was Head Boy, Adam later moved to London, where he met Katy, his now wife. Earlier in Adam’s working life, he was a professional diver where he taught diving to Instructor Trainer level. He also made underwater documentaries for companies such as Channel 4 and the Discovery Channel specialising in underwater cave systems and deep ship wrecks. Adam has also competed in a number of full distance Ironman competitions and crossed Baffin Island as a member of an Arctic expedition team. Adam also has a passion for horology. He is fascinated by the detail and workmanship involved in designing and creating top quality watches and has been known to advise clients and friends on their watch purchases!
Tom joined Compass Financial in March 2020, having spent 14 years in senior financial and operational roles. Following his degree in Accountancy & Finance at Newcastle University, Tom joined managed services provider Aramark on the graduate scheme and qualified as a chartered management accountant before moving into senior finance roles with Begbies Traynor plc and Manchester based Airline Services. Tom then moved to the legal business DWF plc, working as Operations Director for the International division and most recently as Corporate Development Director before joining Compass. ...
Tom was brought up near Chester and currently lives in south Manchester. He has travelled extensively with work and lived in Australia for three years while growing up. Outside of work, Tom enjoys keeping fit through mountain biking and running, as well as spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys travelling abroad, sampling new cultures where possible and is a long-suffering Crewe Alexandra fan.
Rebecca joined Compass Financial in December 2020, having spent over 15 years in senior finance roles. After achieving her degree in Accounting and Finance at Manchester Metropolitan University she then went on to gain her Chartered Status with CIMA in 2007. Rebecca has worked across multiple sectors, supporting dynamic, growing and unique businesses adding to the varying experience across the Compass board.
Andrew joined Compass Financial in November 2019 as a Financial Adviser. Andrew has CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Andrew has 15 years industry experience having worked for both large and small firms during his career. ...
Prior to joining Compass, Andrew worked for Schroder Personal Wealth formerly Lloyds Private Banking as a Personal Wealth Advisor. This experience has given Andrew a firm base and extensive training with which to progress onto more bespoke advice expected through Compass. Andrew lives in South Manchester with his wife and 2 young children. He is a keen runner and enjoys spending time with his family.
Keely has LIBF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA) and is continuing her studies in specialised areas. Keely has a broad knowledge and experience in all levels of wealth and investments along with overseeing several of the Compass corporate clients. Keely entered the financial world eleven years ago through her Father in law who runs his own business. In her early days she aspired to be a financial adviser and her motivation has driven her ever since. ...

Blaise joined Compass Financial in July 2020 following the acquisition of Powell Financial Management where he had been a shareholding director since 2007, forming part of a Management Buy Out team to secure the purchase of the business.Graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Business Studies and then an MBA, Blaise embarked on an initial career in media which included journalism, public relations and internet marketing before spending time with change management consultant, Gerard Egan, in Chicago. ...
However, for the last twenty years Blaise has been a Financial Adviser delivering holistic advice to high net worth and corporate clients throughout the UK building on strong alliances with solicitors, accountants and other advisory professionals. Blaise’s main areas of specialism include retirement planning, investments, exit strategies and tax planning for both businesses and private individuals. Away from work, Blaise’s time is spent following his sons’ sporting pursuits as well as coaching junior cricket. In addition Blaise acts as a mentor for young people from socially challenging backgrounds who are engaged in the Wirral Youth Zone as well as providing a support role within the UK for the St Lucia Football Association. Blaise is a lifelong supporter of a well known north west football club…but for commercial reasons he won’t disclose which one!
Jack joined Compass Financial initially as a paraplanner in March 2019. Jack became a mortgage adviser from October 2019 and then qualified as a Financial Adviser in August 2020. Jack has LIBF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA), and Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP). His knowledge of various areas of wealth and investments means he can put clients in the best possible position to meet their objectives. Having specialised in arranging off-panel investments for the advisory arm, Jack later led a customer service team and was also responsible for the dedicated IPO team prior to the company’s successful listing on the main market. Born in Rochdale, he has since lived in France and New Zealand before settling in Cheshire with his wife. Outside of work, Jack enjoys the great outdoors and from time to time, clay pigeon shooting.

Paul joined Compass Financial in April 2013, having spent more than 30 years in the Financial Services industry. He worked previously at managerial level for both Nat West Bank and The Halifax in the North West of England, moving on when the banks moved away from offering financial advice – Paul's specialist area. ...
In 2015, Paul gained a Certificate in Regulated Equity Release, and in 2018 attained the Certificate in Long Term Care. This has given us the opportunity to offer client advice in these areas. Married with a grown up son and daughter, Paul lives on the Wirral. A lifelong Everton FC supporter and season ticket holder, he played football himself when he was a little younger and also coached his local junior football team for seven years. Of late he plays walking football at Connahs Quay Nomads to keep himself fit. He also enjoys watching rugby league and he follows Warrington Wolves.

Amy joined Compass Financial in July 2013 after graduating with a 2.1 degree in History and Politics from Lancaster University. Amy is currenting studying towards achieving Chartered Status. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her partner Ben and their one year old son Milo. They enjoy family days out include long walks in the North Wales countryside where they live.
Lyndsay joined Compass Financial in April 2017 having worked in financial services since 2001 (with a couple of shorts breaks to look after payroll and HR) with roles spanning administration, report writing and advising. Lyndsay has an IFS Level 4 Diploma and has also gained R05 Financial Protection, the IFP Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning and is qualified in CeMAP 1-3. At some point in the future she would also like to work towards achieving Chartered status.
