Adam Stubbings set up Compass Financial in May 2009, having worked as a financial adviser in the North West for several years and previously London for ten years. Educated at TS Indefatigable, a Naval College on Anglesey, North Wales, where he was Head Boy, Adam later moved to London, where he met Katy, his now wife. Earlier in Adam’s working life, he was a professional diver where he taught diving to Instructor Trainer level. He also made underwater documentaries for companies such as Channel 4 and the Discovery Channel specialising in underwater cave systems and deep ship wrecks. Adam has also competed in a number of full distance Ironman competitions and crossed Baffin Island as a member of an Arctic expedition team. Adam also has a passion for horology. He is fascinated by the detail and workmanship involved in designing and creating top quality watches and has been known to advise clients and friends on their watch purchases!
Tom joined Compass Financial in March 2020, having spent 14 years in senior financial and operational roles. Following his degree in Accountancy & Finance at Newcastle University, Tom joined managed services provider Aramark on the graduate scheme and qualified as a chartered management accountant before moving into senior finance roles with Begbies Traynor plc and Manchester based Airline Services. Tom then moved to the legal business DWF plc, working as Operations Director for the International division and most recently as Corporate Development Director before joining Compass. ...
Tom was brought up near Chester and currently lives in south Manchester. He has travelled extensively with work and lived in Australia for three years while growing up. Outside of work, Tom enjoys keeping fit through mountain biking and running, as well as spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys travelling abroad, sampling new cultures where possible and is a long-suffering Crewe Alexandra fan.
Rebecca joined Compass Financial in December 2020, having spent over 15 years in senior finance roles. After achieving her degree in Accounting and Finance at Manchester Metropolitan University she then went on to gain her Chartered Status with CIMA in 2007. Rebecca has worked across multiple sectors, supporting dynamic, growing and unique businesses adding to the varying experience across the Compass board.
Keely has LIBF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA) and is continuing her studies in specialised areas. Keely has a broad knowledge and experience in all levels of wealth and investments along with overseeing several of the Compass corporate clients. Keely entered the financial world eleven years ago through her Father in law who runs his own business. In her early days she aspired to be a financial adviser and her motivation has driven her ever since. ...
Born in Manchester, she has since lived in Australia where her mum, dad and little brother still reside and gets out to see them once a year. Outside of work, Keely enjoys spending time with her family, going on nice walks and going to the gym.

Prior to joining Compass, Jack worked for AJ Bell, one of the UK’s largest investment platforms where he started his studies with CII and CISI. Having specialised in arranging off-panel investments for the advisory arm, Jack later led a Customer Service Team and was also responsible for the dedicated IPO Team prior to the company’s successful listing on the main market. Born in Lancashire, he has since lived in France and New Zealand before settling in Cheshire with his wife. Outside of work, Jack enjoys the great outdoors and from time to time, clay pigeon shooting.
Zoe has over ten years experience in the financial services industry, having previously worked at Tilney Bestinvest and St James Place Wealth Management. Her advice covers insurance, pensions and retirement planning, investments and all areas of wealth management. She also has experience of SIPP and SSAS schemes. ...
Her client base is very diverse ranging from young professionals just starting their financial planning journey to older clients completing theirs. She strongly believes the key to being a good adviser is having a good level of technical knowledge but more importantly the ability to listen and empathise with what really matters to clients. She believes in always being honest and transparent in all aspects of life, which comes across to clients and is important in gaining their trust as their Financial Adviser. Kate joins Compass Financial with over fifteen years’ experience as a financial adviser. Kate grew up in North Wales, and was educated at Penrhos College for girls. She then attained a Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Finance and banking at the University of Wales, Bangor before embarking on a career in financial services. Kate lives with her fiancé Andrew and two stepchildren Abigail and Caitlin. She continues to split her time between North Wales and Manchester as she very much enjoys the beautiful countryside and all it offers, partnered with the buzz of city life. Kate is very family focused, however he family and friends understand that her cats come before everyone. She loves to travel and strives to visit as many countries as she can, hoping not to stop at the same place twice. The world is too big! She enjoys spending her weekends with friends and family in lovely restaurants, and the occasional round of golf.

Chris has worked with finances his whole working life and sought a career in wealth management in 2013. Since then he has enjoyed a variety of roles in the industry and after gaining his Diploma in Financial Advice in 2016, Chris has been providing advice to a large range of clients with differing needs and objectives. Chris' main area of expertise is pensions and retirement planning, and believes that 'knowledge is power' and thrives on helping clients to understand the complexities of wealth management. ...
Chris also has a strong belief in responsible and sustainable practices and has a keen interest in Ethical, Social and Governance (ESG) investments. Chris was brought up in East Lancashire and currently resides in Clitheroe with his partner Kate; both of whom enjoy good music, good film and good food & drink! In his spare time, he plays golf at an embarrassingly poor standard and as a Merseyside boy from St. Helens, has had to endure 34 years of being a Liverpool fan, with only 3 of those years meriting such dedication. Between these two interests, which only seem to add stress to his life, he’s an avid rugby league fan of his hometown club and has a 5 year old daughter who ‘keeps him on his toes’.

Amy joined Compass Financial in July 2013 after graduating with a 2.1 degree in History and Politics from Lancaster University. Amy is currenting studying towards achieving Chartered Status. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her partner Ben and their one year old son Milo. They enjoy family days out include long walks in the North Wales countryside where they live.

Rachel joined Compass in July 2021, having spent the last 14 years working in a variety of roles within financial services. In the early years she predominantly worked in Pensions Administration both in the public & private sector and for the last 6 years she has worked in wealth management as a Paraplanner. Rachel has successfully completed her CII Level 3 Certificate in Financial Services so has an in-depth knowledge of financial regulation & ethics and a good understanding of financial products. Rachel is currently studying towards the CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning. Outside of work Rachel enjoys walking her two Border Collies Jim & Murphy with her partner Chris in the countryside. She also enjoys keeping fit and spending quality time with family and friends socialising and dining out.
